It would have been nice to have been told about the "heritage renovations" being done to the roof before we booked. Unfortunately, we were woken before 7:00am by the hammering. We had a room on the third floor, looking out over Walsh Bay. It was a shame that wooden beams prevented us from taking in the wonderful view whilst standing. The best vantage spot was had by sprawling on the floor & looking out the window.
Maybe we scored this particular "harbour view room" because it was a web special, but it seemed smaller than others advertised on the hotel movie? The reverse cycle air-con also produced a foul smell.
