It was good value, but more of a hostel than hotel.
No elevator, it was ALL stairs. You must be young, fit and healthy to stay there.
It was quite noisy between the noise of the city or that of other guests.
It was clean, cheap and that's all. Free internet and laundry was nice.
Sydney is not the international city it pretends to be.
The trains are dirty, unreliable and often do not have working air conditioning.
Trying to figure out how to use the bus system was a nightmare for this _former_ Sydney resident, I couldn't imagine the difficulty for a first time visitor.
Food is expensive, customer service is poor and no one cares. I much prefer living in Japan
Book City Lodge, or Accommodation Sydney CBD.
